Woven & Dyed In Our Own Mill

Canvas fabric manufacturer — 100 to 1000 gsm, any weave, any finish

This is where everything else we make begins. 120 DORNIER looms, our own dyeing range, and finishing that meets CPAI-84, BS 6085 and ISO 105 B02 / B04 — supplied as roll stock, or made into the finished product by us.

Tested & certified to: ISO 105 B02 / B04 Colour Fastness CPAI-84 Flame Retardancy BS 6085 Soil Burial ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 REACH (UK)
Why It Matters

Everything downstream is decided at the loom

Whether a tent leaks, a tarpaulin rots, a bag tears or a colour fades in a season — all of it is settled before anyone cuts a pattern. It's decided by the yarn, the weave density, the dye and the finish. That's the part we control, and it's the reason we can tell you exactly what you're getting rather than passing on what a supplier told us.

Where It's Used

  • Tentage — wall tents, marquees, deluxe tents and awnings
  • Bags — totes, shoppers and heavy-duty canvas bags
  • Covers & tarpaulins — where breathability matters more than being fully sealed
  • Dust sheets & drop cloths — cotton twill for the decorating trade
  • Upholstery, art and industrial applications

Why Cotton

  • It breathes, so condensation doesn't form underneath and rot what's beneath it
  • It can be patched and re-proofed rather than thrown away
  • It takes wax proofing in a way synthetics don't

Why Poly-Cotton

  • Lighter and faster drying than pure cotton at comparable strength — the reason it dominates modern tentage
  • More dimensionally stable — less shrink and sag through wet-dry cycles
  • Still breathable, so it keeps cotton's main advantage over coated synthetics

Where It's Used

  • Relief, military, camping and glamping tentage
  • Awnings, sun shades and upholstery
  • Covers and technical textiles for indoor and outdoor use

Who Buys Greige

  • Converters with their own dyehouse — you control colour and finish, we control the weave
  • Brands with proprietary finishes that they don't want to share with a mill
  • Buyers who need the base cloth and nothing else

If you want us to dye and finish it too, that's the Cotton Canvas or Poly-Cotton Canvas line — same cloth, further down our own process.

Finishing & Treatment

The finish is where canvas is won or lost

Two mills can weave the same construction and deliver completely different fabric. The difference is proofing, and it's the part most suppliers are vague about. Here's exactly what we do and the standard each is tested against.

  • Waterproofing — paraffin wax, beeswax and different emulsions, selected for optimal proofing capability
  • Flame retardant — specialised chemical combinations, compliant with CPAI-84
  • Rot-proofing — fully certified and compliant with the BS 6085 soil burial test
  • UV treatment — for fabric that lives outdoors season after season
  • Colour fastness — our complete dyeing range holds ISO certification
The Claim We'll Stand Behind

We are the only manufacturer in Pakistan offering satisfaction under ISO 105 B02 and ISO 105 B04 standards.

Those two standards measure colour fastness to artificial light and to artificial weathering. In plain terms: whether the colour you approved is still the colour on site after a few seasons in the sun. For anyone putting canvas outdoors — tents, awnings, covers — it's the specification that decides whether your product ages well or fades into a warranty claim.

Why Buy Fabric From Us

We're the mill, not the middleman

Most people selling you canvas are buying it from someone like us and adding a margin. Cut out the step.

120 DORNIER Looms

Air-jet weaving machines running since 2005, up to 6 filling colours and dobby machines with up to 20 shafts. Speed and flexibility.

Our Own Dyeing Range

German dyeing machines for short runs, Morrison continuous ranges for bulk, Mahlo weft straighteners for distortion-free fabric. 75 tons daily.

Our Own Testing Lab

Fabric checked against your parameters at every stage of the cycle — not sampled at the end and hoped for.

Developed To Your Spec

Weave, weight, blend, colour, finish and coating — all specified by you, from 100 to 1000 gsm.

Roll Stock Or Finished

Take the cloth, or let us cut and sew it into the finished product. Same factory either way.

An Art of Generations

You can manipulate a fabric with the twist of the yarn, the weave, the treatment and the yarn selection itself. That craft is the actual product — the loom just executes it.

Buyer Questions

Canvas fabric FAQs

The questions fabric buyers ask us most often.

What weights of canvas fabric do you produce?
We weave a variety of fabric patterns in different weights, ranging from 100 grams to 1000 grams per square metre. Weight, weave and construction are all specified to your requirement rather than picked from a catalogue.
What finishes and treatments can you apply?
Waterproofing using paraffin wax, beeswax and different emulsions, selected to achieve optimal proofing capability; flame retardant treatment using specialised chemical combinations, compliant with CPAI-84; and rot-proofing, fully certified and compliant with the BS 6085 soil burial test. UV treatment is also available.
What colour fastness standards does your dyeing meet?
Our complete dyeing range meets compliance requirements and holds ISO certification. We are the only manufacturer in Pakistan offering satisfaction under ISO 105 B02 and ISO 105 B04 standards — colour fastness to artificial light and to artificial weathering.
Do you supply canvas fabric by the roll?
Yes. We supply roll stock to converters, tent makers, bag manufacturers and industrial users — greige or fully finished — as well as making finished products ourselves. We're a mill, so minimum order quantities apply.
What is grey canvas fabric?
Grey or greige canvas is loom-state fabric: woven, but not yet dyed or finished. It's named on our ISO 14001 certified scope, and we supply it to converters who dye and finish it themselves.
Can you develop a fabric to our own construction?
Yes — that's most of what we do. Send us your reed and pick specification, yarn count, blend ratio, weight and finish, and we'll develop and sample it. Our own lab tests it against your parameters before production.
